In this argument, the author claims that C note which is proposed to be built in Monore would be a greatly profitable enterprise. He states that the nearest jazz club is 65 miles away from Monore, so that the C note club would have a tremendously market prosperity. Moreover, the author also cites some examples, such as the Monore's jazz festival, the well-known jazz musician living in Monore and the highest-rated radio program in Monore 'Jazz Nightly', to infers Jazz is a extremely popular entertainment style in Monore. Finally, he is sure that the C note club cannot help but make money, due to a nationwide study. At the first glance, the argument seems convincing, while careful examination of this supporting evidence reveals that it lends little credible support to the applicant's claim.

First of all, profit is a complicated and sophisticated matters, which relates to many other factos, such as the market avenue, the cost of producing process and the propaganda, and other process or precedure in runing the whole business. However, the author fails to provide any evidence that can indicate any process or precedure above, so it is unconvincing to persuade readers that the C note club would be profitable, letting alone with the statement of 'tremendously profitable'.

---This paragraph is about the flaw relating to the profit. Any argument mentioned the words:profit and profitable, in itself, must be arguable and questionable. The method of attacking this kind of shortcoming is divided into several paces. For example, the first sentence of the argument is concerned with the evidence the author provided to prove the statement, and it is a kind of rewriting the argument. Following, the next part is pointing out the inadequance of proving the claims. This sentence can begin with "this evidence in itself does not suffice to prove that....", and for the last part, which may include several sentences about others causes that make this argument weaker and more vulnerable. Perhaps is a common beginning in following sentences. Because no one can confidently rule out these factors or confirm them.

---lacking the evidence, lending no support to the argument, fail to provide evidence to support the argument, the author can not expect us to take seriously the claim that , similarly, moreover, in conclusion, to evaluate the argument , to strengthen the argument, provide dear evidence, the author must provide dear evidence of ....,as well. I find this argument specious in several aspects. the author also reasons that, even if ....

Secondly, the author cites a nationwide study to support the claims that jazz is a popular entertainment in Monore. This is completely unconvincing and vulnerable. Firstly, the study is not carried out in Monore but a nationwide study, so that the result can not present the condition of Monore area. Moreover, even if the result, to some extent, can indicate the popularity of jazz in Monore, but the number of typical jazz fan is not mentioned in this argument. Perhaps there are few typical jazz fan in Monore so that the total amount of avenue is little even neglectable. Furthermore, there are several questions about how the study was carried out and the sampling method was scientific or not..... So the nationwide study results does not suffice to support the statement as it stands.

Thirdly, just as the author reveals, the highest-rated radio program 'Jazz Nightly' would attract the jazz fans from the total number of going to C note club. Perhaps most jazz fans in Monore used to listening to the radio to satisfy their needs for jazz music, and they are reluctant to go to Jazz club due to the high price of entering, or even most of them would like to go to the jazz club but they can not afford the high cost. So the argument is further weakened by itselves statement or evidence.

Finally, even if it is true that the jazz market in Monore is indeed tremendously popular and the C note club will appeal much attention from local jazz fans. However, it is just in terms of recent condition or atmosphere. No one can confidently confirm that this kind popularity wiil last and endure for a long time, so that to kill the former investment of building this expensive club.Just as the author states, over 100,000 people attended Monore's jazz festival last year, no one can absolutely be sure that the number would maintain or increase in next few year. So it is questionable that the author claims the club would be profitabe.

In conclusion, this argument fails to substantiate his claim that the C note club would be tremendously profitable, because the evidence cited in this analysis does not lend strong support to what the arguer maintains. To make the argument more convincing and sound, the author would have to provide more information with regard to the cost and expense of building this kind of jazz club. What's more, he would have to do more research relating to local Jazz market and other entertainment markets, to some extent, overlapping with the jazz market. Additionally, he would have to provide more dear evidence to prove the popularity of jazz in Monore, and evaluate the future of the jazz market in Monore before investing this business. Therefore, if the argument had included the given factors discussed above, it would have been more thorough and logically arguable.
